Metrotown Car Break-Ins

This has really been one hell of a bad month for my car. lol. First the window of my car being smashed when my car was parked RIGHT outside the front of my house. Then someone hitting my side view mirror and bending it all the way up (verticle) when I payed $10 to park it in the parking lot in Yaletown at work. \

Then yesterday...after I got out of the mall, I went to my car and tried to open the door from the passenger side. I noticed that the keyhole was slanted. I put my key in and try to open the door...the light goes on inside of the car, but I cannot open the door. Some idiot tried to pick my lock by shoving god knows what in there, ended up not being able to do so and left it broken. It's not a huge deal since I normally never open the door from the passenger side, but it's still annoying as hell. For fucks sakes...THERE IS NOTHING OF VALUE IN MY CAR! They were probably hoping to hotwire the thing though and steal it.

Oh well...shit happens and I know that there are many worse things out there that can happen, but c'mon...I mean THREE times in a month? Give me a break!

That sucks! Metrotown (the underground parking) is notorious for break-ins. A couple years ago, Kam's car and two of our friends' cars got broken into on the same night. All the theives got was a pack of smokes and a pair of sunglasses. It's so stupid.

Bebu: Jeep Grand Cherokee...tons of Jeeps get broken into so I'm not surprised that mine is being targeted. It's weird though...I've driven for a year and a half now and I NEVER had any problems with my car until this past month. Bad karma or something? I don't think I've done anything bad. lol.

Cookie Monster: Yeah, the sign should say "IT'S BEEN DONE TWICE BEFORE AND NOTHING BUT A PACK OF SMOKES HAS BEEN STOLEN. NOW EVEN THAT'S GONE. SO DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME." lol.

Jen: I was actually parked in the outside lot, but towards the back edge. I normally try not to park so far off to the side but w/ Christmas rush and stuff, I already had to drive around for 20 minutes trying to get a spot.

i suggest leavin your glovebox open when you park...or just not locking your doors at all then.

to add to the metro evilness: i came down from a movie and some dood's benzo was sittin on bricks in the lot right under metropolis. bye bye amg
