lol they banned all forms of messenger.

Trillian with a really high transparency, something like 80-90%.

I used that during my comp class last semester.

Good thing too is Trillian can support both ICQ, MSN AND IRC.

You might need XP though, I couldn't use the Transparency feature on ME.

Alpha blending is pretty unique to XP. I admit, for once Microsoft actually managed to snag a neat feature FIRST.

However, joy of linux being that you can ssh into your home box (meaning NO INSTALLATION NEEDED) and use a text-based client and it looks like actual work.
