My Job Interview!!!
I recently received call for a job interview from a chinese Bubble Tea restuarant somewhere in richmond...
i went to this place yesturday, and the Owner of the restuarant gave me 3 days of interview (Real work, no payment at all) to prove myself. first i thought it was fun to work in bubble tea shop where i can c all this chicks coming in, and going by.....but he put me working in da kitchen :sick: he gave me all kinds of shit to do like washing dishes without any gloves. i constantly hv to scratch off all the left overs on the dishes, bowls, and etc, and dump them into the garbage can.......I might properly get some kind of disease someday if i continue doing this.......Yukkk!!! he also made me do all kinds of heavy work, cleaning jobs and he expects me to remember all the food names, and procedures, in the first day. 1) 7 hours straight working...no break 2) no pay ment, 7 hours a day, for 3 days (7 X 3=21 hours) 3) no gloves for cleaning dishes, dirty work 4) THe Owner==F*king inpolite to new ppl, nvr appreciate for how hard i hv been working 5) Ill be screw if i doh get the job even after 21 hours of free service 6) and WTF is 3 days interview thats no different than real work, rather than simple questioning....nvr even heard of it!!  :soak: :soak: :soak:

yea.. usually older chinese fuks take advantage of new ppl..
u both r rite.. but using illegal ways to test someone isn't the proper way, but o wellz.. its time for viper to taste the flavors of the hard-times. o wellz.. EXPERIENCE LEARNING TIME! so.. its all good.

yea it might be illegal what he's making you do (not sure tho), but you're still agreeing to work under those terms, if you feel something is unsafe or illegal, you have the right to refuse to do it. So ya, if you don't like it just get the hell outta there and find a better job. and BTW: i can tell you many horror stories involving way worse working conditions than you're working under, and a lot of illegal shit too. but sometimes you just gotta roll with it if ya wanna keep your job unfortunately

too bad he couldn't just pay you for sitting around and checking out chicks.
so from what i see there, you are complaining about not having gloves for work. you agreed to 3days of free work. so he doesn't owe you anything. he's rude, moot point. you have no breaks, well certain jobs have no breaks if it's set up that way. and god forbid this crazy owner want's to have you work 3 days so he can actually see if your a slacker or a good employee. actually it's probably a much better way to hire staff than "simple questioning"
