most cops are nice, they're just doin' their job. (i know what you're thinking but this is coimg from some one who has been beat up by cops twice.) how ever you do occasionaly get the crappy molesty/hitty ones. i do however hate skytrain pigs. i've punched one in the face before.

all in all it wasnt one of my worst experiances with cops

Sounds like someone needs how to deal with the police a little better.

As soon as they walk up to you, memorize their name and call them constable whatever.

If they are hassling you for no reason, just refer to the Canadian Charter of rights. Do a google search for that.

If they continue to bug you, explain to them that if they don't stop, you'll file a formal complaint against them. That means DAYS of paperwork and bullshit for them. This is why you memorized their name.

Always be polite, smile and don't swear. keep cool, don't give them any reason to make your situation worse. If you think they can make your life hell and are defenceless, think again.

This is provided you have only commited a non-indictable offense.
