The "Insomnia" Signatures...

My God these things are starting to fucking annoy the shit out of me!!

40 lines of text (yes I counted them) in a signature for 10 lines or less in a post. It's ridiculous... especially when the post is a smiley or a word or two.

Don't get me wrong I have no problem with people promoting their parties or helping their friends promote parties b/c I know first hand how important it is but honestly folks just post a link! There's a promotion section on this board for a reason... use it.

Not only are these signatures a waste of space and annoying but more then anything they make me NOT want to attend this party.

perhaps a better sig would be

INSOMNIA (and link that to a thread with the lineup)
this party is going to be DOPE ASS

I made my sig small so it doesnt take up that much room, I do understand how you guys feel about having long sig's because at one point I thought it was anoying too.

Not to be mean or anything but Sammy your one to talk about having big sig's. Yea its a picture but its big, I could say the same bullshit about you sig (maybe not now but in the past), Its too big, maybe you should try resizing it?

On other hand, this is going to be an awsome party, I should look foreward to seeing all you there.

if someone is interested in the party they will check out the thread
and if you want to show off whose playing just put the feature DJs in your name
the sig itself is like a post on its own, its just an inconvienience to have to scroll past it

Have an original party 'JUST ANNOUNCED' post
Have a 'LINEUP' post
Have 5-20 mobile ticket ho's doing your dirty work whoring out tickets in posts/attns/sigs/meets
Have a 'UPDATED INFO' post or two
Have a 'PARTY ROLL CALL' post in f&k members
Have a few posts with BIOS and MIXES of all the djs
Namedrop the party in your regular un-related thread conversation

Remember to reply to everyone who comments in one of your threads with a silly emotiocon, or a 'kickass!' or a 'thiz party will be dizzzooooooppppe'. this of course isn't to keep topping your thread, but to give sadder ravers a blanket of love and acceptance. THIS MAY SAVE A LIFE.

Don't worry that you will be benefitting from the party being popular, don't bring ethics or morals into the equation. The real issue is that people need to see your party 10-20 times a day every day for the 2 months you advertise thier party. in order for anyone to go to your party the very name of it must be BURNED ON THEIR RETINAS from your boardspam.

actually miss attitude, my sig is perfect size. in fact, the fnk messiah, myles, was the one that initially resized it to its current size...thank you very much.

I still think a link would be more appropriate. Shrunken or cut down is still whoring it up. I have no idea who the fuck is playing at this party nor do I care to know and that's based solely on the fact that I find it INCREDIBLY annoying to have to scroll through the shit time and again.

Yes there is a party called Insomnia... Yes it's one of the Plaza's last parties... Yes in your opinion it may be a "dope ass" party but not everyone needs it drilled into their heads.

If me... or anyone else want to know the lineup and ticket prices and all that shit we'll check the appropriate promo thread or god forbid pick up a flyer.
