Yes.. McDonalds does use beef products to fry all their shit. I used to be a crew trainer / crew cheif there and I had to read all the crap in those O&T manuals.

Heres the scoop.

Formula 147 = Microfiltered beef oils
---------------------------------------------
Taken from the waste products of the beef before it is ground, McDs uses the large sections of fat from the cow (like that ring around your T-Bone steak) and grinds it up, melts it, and homogenizes it, microfilters it and produces Formula 147.

McDonalds only uses 100% LEAN GROUND BEEF, and its the fat that comes out of this in making the ground beef lean that is used to make Formula 147

This "beef-oil" is what gives McDonalds fries, Hash browns, and other products their distinct taste and smell.

Things fried in Formula 147 at McDonalds are:

Hash browns
Fries

Formula 18x = Canola Oil
--------------------------------
A custom forumla of Canola Oil, McDonalds purcahses large quantities of this. They from time to time modify the formula as new products come out such as Crispy Chicken.

Things fried in Formula 18x are:

Chicken Products
Fish Products

go to mcdonalds for breakfast
tell them you have an unusual order

ask for a sausage w/ egg mcmuffin

extra cheeze
