Life with no Microwave

So day 4 with no microwave. I didnt think it would be too hard, but its realy inconvienient. I never realised I used it soo much!

i remember moving into my first apartment and not having a microwave for the first month and a half.... it suxed ass! having to heat stuff up in the oven sux. i <3 my microwave! :c-tard:

I don't know, I've almost never had one, we grew up without one and then since I've been on my own some housemates have had one some haven't. Now that I'm on my own I keep thinking of getting one cuz I know there are things I could use it for but since I never had one before I've never thought of it as a priority and so keep putting it off.

I guess it all depends on what U're used to.

^Back in my bowen island days, the electricity went out all the time. Sometimes for over a week. We used to cook things on a wood burning stove. Pioneers I tells ya.

you want to know what sucked? When I still lived at home their was an ice storm, no power for 3 days and -20 outside. But the stovepipe on the woodstove in our house had a hole in it that I discovered an hour before the power went out. That sucked, and we couldn't risk it, living in a log cabin and all.
