Damn School Bells...
So today I was in the Shower and I heard the Elementary School Bell go off at 12:15... THE SCHOOL IS ACROSS A PARK THROUGH A PATCH OF TREES AND HOUSES AND I CAN HEAR IT IN THE BACK OF MY HOUSE! Are the students blind and need it to home in on it? Like really here... you don't need a fucken Air Raid Siren to signal the end of Recess... maybe if I could expect to see Russian Bombers streaking over the Horizon but we fixed that lil' problem in '91. So basically the point to this rant is... Why is it so damn loud? When I was in School you couldn't hear the bell from A BLOCK AND A BIT AWAY! :soak: Yes... I'm done now. Hooo... that's a lot of built up stress... I feel so happy now. :)
