cant sleep
yeah i really cant sleep.
this is my first year back in school (college) so maybe its just the end of trm stress, but i didnt experience this last term. everything is uncomfertable right now. usually when im under stress i sleep alot so i get nothing done, but right now, its the opposite. plus my bed is waaaaay to big, i think its missing something :kimmie: but really whats with this? other school kids, does this happen to you? |

oh man sorry.. i dont give great advice. go get some excercise, even though its 12:30 and that'd be kinda difficult right now.. do something that makes you tired. but i guess your bed is missing that.. hm. i dunno? i have too much trouble sleeping, it's really annoying actually. i wish i could fall asleep on command and not think too much when i TRY.. my mind is way too active. |

a chemical is released in ur body when ur under high levels of stress... could cause loss of appittite or insomnia
edit: also its better to fall asleep naturally instead of taking drugs.. really bad for you.. exercise can help cure this... |

The mystery of why we yawn is still not completely solved yet. It is still not known exactly how a yawn occurs either. But the general reason most of us have heard, is pretty much correct. Most professionals believe that yawning is caused by low oxyegen levels in the lungs, in the alveoli of the lungs to be more specific. It is believed that when oxygen levels are low in the lungs, the brain sends us a signal to sigh or yawn, thus causing us to take in more oxyegen, which increases oxygen to the alveoli. The alveoli sends the oxyegen directly into the bloodstream. They also rid the body of carbon dioxide when we exhale.

ask for an extension. or hand it in late. at this hour it's it's hard to produce good quality work. might be better to take the penalty. ya i can't sleep either i need to write a paper...due on wednesday atleast but it's worth sooo much that i am hiding from it. fucking fnk..i spent all day today procrastinating

mmm... well....nahhh.. not worth losing a grade for, and i really want to get this piece of shit done with. This is my last assignment before I can relax and not worry about school for a while.
Besides, I have until 5pm tomorrow I should still be ok. The thing that pisses me off though is that I really have a mind-block tonight and I can't construct my words in an academic bull-shitting kind of way. You know, in a way that sounds intelligent even if my paper isn't very intelligent. heh. my mind's shutdown for the night. |

take a shot of alcohol.. it'll relax you and help you sleep.. and then in the morning you'll feel great. just make sure its not so much that you get a buzz
its a tip i got from a fellow student at bcit when we used to only get 3 or 4hrs of sleep each night because of projects |

^ booze induced sleep is a different kind of sleep - not so good..it makes you a little un refreshed and when you have to go to work that's not a good thing
I was reading an article about trouble going to sleep last week if you are lying in bed and you are feeling uncomfy and you can't doze off -- you should get out of bed and do something til you become drowsy apparently lying in bed and not sleeping stresses your body out and if you do it repeatedly - your subconcious starts to associate the bed with thinking time rather then sleeping time and that means more sleepless nights and having a regluar bed time and wake up time is a good thing too |

I think it's a recent thing because this time of year is naturally pretty stressful for a lot of people, and also because with more hours of sunlight naturally, it fucks up our schedules.
