Would you be putting this 3 hour mix onto a cd? if so, can you get cd's longer than approx. 80 minutes? Or would it be created in a different format? I'm pretty clueless!

you can burn the mp3 and play it on an mp3 cd player

or you can move it to an mp3 player

but playing it on a regular cd would be impossible.. unless you want to turn down the quality... but who wants to do that?

You could always just spilt it in three parts... of course for that to work well you'd have to find three points in the mix that are clean enough to make a split at... with each around the 60 to 80 minute mark.

Or you could not do that and just leave it up to the listener to split it themselves.. which would probably work out better anyways.
