I was sitting at white spot with my mom last night.

The bill (i thought) was an even $20.00

So i give him a 20 and we leave.. I was going to drop my mom off at the skytrain. The guy boosts out the door and says "WAIT. WAIT!"

I underpaid the bill by $.86 cents.. It was $20.86

I gave him $1.00 and told him that the food was horrible and the service was positively crap and that freaking about a misely .86 cents was a bunch of horseshit.

my mom didnt like that too much.. but i gave her a present and she loved me again.

that's mean, i work as a waiter and really tipping is the only way to make any cash. but being short on the bill then not tipping...that's just cruel. especially after we all know that u have a decent job and u ain't broke.

tipping keeps the cost of food down. it's basically a minimum wage job that people only take because the tips offset the shittyness of dealing with the public.

I was at White Spot in PoCo the other day, I was playing a softball tourney out there. There were 9 of us, the server forgot to bring me a lemon in my water, and she checked on us all of two or three times, it took nearly 45 minutes to get our food...shall I go on?

Service at some restaurants is absolutely, positively, unbearable. The smallest tip I've ever left is 20-something cents, and you have to be VERY horrible for me to give a small tip. The largest tip I ever gave was $20 on a $15 meal...great service, got me everything I asked for, and it was prompt (plus he was cute, ha!).

working at ea as a game tester isnt a decent job...it pays a lil more then minimum wage i think...and the hours those guys have to work..fuck i wouldnt want to work that job.
