Pre-pay gas stations

You hop outta your car, select your grade and attempt to fill only to be interrupted by a geek telling u it's prepay


You know the ones where you must go in and pay otherwise you get that dork on the intercom saying pre-pump only. Whatever happened to pump & pay? Now its pay & pump at some places no matter what time of day..

I can understand if it's late at night and there's one person on shift but during regular hours..come on.

They do that during regular Hours? Lame-O... the Gas Geeks always sound like that guy from the Simpsons. "Here's your Taco Sirrrr...."

They do this because of all the gas runs that have been happening partly due to the fact that gas is so frickin expensive...and I have been assured that this happens at all hours of the day after complaining when one of those dorks runs their mouth over the intercom......at least some of them have signs posted so you dont sit there trying to figure out why the fuck you cant pump gas until the same dork as afore mentioned desides to let you in on this stupid little secret

i just had a conversation with my cousin about this weekend, she used to work at a gas station, and she would receive so much flack from people complaining about the pre-pump, and quite frankly is it really that much of an inconvienience? no, it really isnt. and if it is, then just go to the pumps where you use your interact right there.

I only get Flak from people bitching about AVGAS being cheaper in Nanaimo and other places far from Civilization.

It's all about the express pay i guess. I just hate being penalized for gas & runs and alarmingly high prices of fuel. I guess it's full serve, interac or gas & runs :D My defence will be the govt is stealing from me..

they have prepay kuz they can't exactly do anything to people who run away wit gas. if they don't catch u that is.

anyways, i think the most annoying part of the pre-paying is when there's no sign, and you hear some muffled voice talking to you. i can never understand what they're saying to me.. it's confusing.
