It's almost harder for them as well because society isn't as accepting of males actually talking about their problems or seeking help as they are for females doing the same thing.
It's like eating disorders are a growing problem among young men and it's a lot harder because when they come out and tell someone they have the problem, they're going to face a hell of a lot more ridicule than a female would with the same problem, so they're less likely to get help.

Thank you.
Just to expand on your point, guys face just as much pressure to fit into a certain body image as girls do. Although for guys it's a little bit different, we have to maintain a fine balance between looking good/stylish and fitting into the whole rugged male ideal. A girl can look as stylish and sexy as she wants but as soon as a guy has some sense of style he is labelled by other guys with some bullshit buzzword like 'metrosexual'. Like i said before, there is a fine balance between looking good for the ladies and being 'real man' to fit in with the guys.
I think it is incredibly short-sighted to believe that insecurity is exclusively a female problem. Guys are just as vicious as females, not only are they quick to make fun of someone but they are more likely than girls to take it to a physical level. Trust me, coming from someone who was pretty much always doing the teasing and ridiculing... the people who were the bullies in school were always the ones who were more insecure. Thats why i said before "if you let stuff like this bug you so much, you are gonna have a heart attack by the time you are 30".
