I went to get my eyebrown threaded today and I got this new gil who obviously doenst know what she's doing. No only was she doing it really slow so I could feel every hair being ripped out. She totally missed some spots, they're not even the same shape and one's lower than the other!! Fuckin bitch. Grrrr.

Shitty deal. Where did you get it done?

I love the results of threading, but I've had difficulty finding a satisfying place to get it done. There are several salons in surrey that will do it for uber cheap (2 bux). But I find that the girls there seem to have no training when it comes to shaping, or the knowledge that certain shapes and types of eyebrows go best with certain faces. Even if they knew what they were doing i couldn't explain what i wanted because of the language barrier.

The girls at champers (I'm guessing) have more asthaetic training, and actually speak this countries native language, but they charge almost 15 dollars!

Regardless of the fact I have to go out to burnaby for surrey, or she has to come here. I've found someone who knows what they are doing AND speaks english (woohoo) for a price closer to the 2 dollar range than 15. I see that you live in abotsford, but it might still be worth it to get in touch with Shining Sal if you continue to have difficulties finding someone who actually knows what they are doing.
