do you get headaches often??

I get them all the time, and I was just wondering if this happens to anyone else?? A lot of the time I get them when burning out and only on one side of my head...but other than that I still get them everyday, could this be caused by eating habits, lack of water or what??

(I know you are just ravers but I'm afraid to ask the doctor incase its bad!!)

do you drink lots of water?

keeping yourself hydrated can help great deals.
if they're migraines, they could be caused by anything.. i know personally i tend to get migraines when i don't get enough sleep [not just for one day, but for a few consecutive days]. or it could be something you're eating that's causing it.. anything.

i would get them daily in highschool because i skipped breakfast.

i get plenty, always on my right side.
sometimes they get paralyzing and all i can do is lie down and close my eyes, and anything makes it worse. those last for days if i dont catch them before they get bad. had my eyes checked and kept a diet book, but nothing seems to be the main trigger.
but right now i get lots of small ones, and for me its from stress, and from my job. (if im not working under the sun then i am indoors at a very stuffy indoor pool)
i find caffine helps me, and so do carrots. ive always drank alot of water, and im a sleepy kid, i tend to fall asleep everywhere.
i was just reading up this evening on headaches and migranes and the research there was pointing to horomones and so on. basically blaming it all on pms, which personally i think is bs in some situations.
start thinkin about what you are doing differently than you have in the past, maybe your eating less or more of something, maybe your sleep pattern has changed, maybe something you didnt think was stressing you\affecting you really is. i would try this first before goin to a doctor, but remember chicks get alot of headaches and migranes. its one of the beautiful things about being a woman......

^ hormone changes can cause headaches though.
i had the worst migraines ever when i started on the pill. 8/10 days i had migraines. mine progress to the point of me vomiting unless i can get to sleep. i'm also much more prone to migraines when i have my period. but it's different for each girl, so who knows what can cause it.

i have really bad headaches...especially in the past couple of weeks. in fact i have a really bad one right now


i think its stress related for me though.



it could also be from too much sun (although we havent really had much in the past couple of days) or from being really muggy outside.

I get them all the time - mine are related to medication, stress, illness, and everything else under the sun.

- Get your eye's checked, you could just be straining your eyes
- Drink lots of water (I've been told not to drink caffeen or lots of sugar)
- Keep a journal of days you have them & what you ate that day - could be caused by a certain food.
- If they are bugging you a lot, go see your family doctor (or walk-in) and maybe s/he can help you out. I mean they are the experts.

I used to get headaches all the time untill I read somewhere that sleeping on your stomach can be a root cause. I taught myself to sleep on my back for a year and then gave it up. The headaches havn't come back though.

Obviously I get tension headaches just like everyone else, but doing any form of physical activity usually takes care of those.
