definitely get a brace...they're like 12 bucks at safeway or anywhere like that
they'll help stabalize your wrist also use some aspirin before work for preventative therapy and ice mixed with heat and some advil after work if it hurts if it gets really bad go to the doctor and ask for an anti-inflammatory |

i've had carpal tunnel for a long time.
what helps is those natural keyboards, get your work to purchase one for you and you should see a difference within the first week. Try to take more breaks in between. If you have numbness in your hand then it may definantly be a case of carpal, but if your arm hurts and when you lift things it feels like an electric shock up your arm, it's tendonitis in most cases. just typing this hurt. :) but yeah, all I do all day is type. natural keyboards are the best thing - and dont take that long of getting used to. |
