cleaning your room

cleaning my room always results in the same process.

1) i see how messy things are so i decide today i will clean!
2) throw on some music and start cleaning!
3) throw everything in a pile in the middle of the room.
4) notice somethings i haven't seen in awhile, sit down to look at them.
5) think about old times.
6) too tired to clean, go to bed, leaving room messier than before.

i think i have an illness.

i do the same thing, only ill find paper or paint or some type of drawing utensil i forgot i had and then i go and have to sit down and use them. or i find a stack of pictures and decide to organize them instead.
it sucks!

i know! one time i was in the middle of cleaning my room, found some books in a drawer that i didn't know i had, put them on the bookshelf and then decided it would be a good idea to alphabetize my bookshelf.

i do the same thing. it ends up taking forever and a day before my room is actually clean.

then within a few days the room has become a mess again!

like making your bed, you're just going to mess it up again in a few hours anyway!

i cleaned it.

vacuumed the floor, washed my desk, emptied the garbage, organized the shit on the floor.

i'm so good.

ever since I re-painted and decorated my room I have been particularly neat and picky when it comes to the up-keep. I always put things back right when I am done with them and nothing is ever on the floor or out of place unless I have a reason for it to be. It is a bit scary since I never used to be that way. except the bed thing.. I dont bother to make it very often cause like jake said, its just going to get messy in a few hours anyway hehe.

that is the one thing i never do.
the only time you'll see my bed made is when i've just put freshly washed sheets on. even then, it's not super neat. haha

messy beds are more comfortable.

i know excatly where everything is !!

cellfone wallet and other personal shit is on my table or on my tv or stereo

clothing i havent worn in a few months is actually in the closet and clothin i will wear or wore in the last 5 days is on the bed or hanging off the chair

now whats wrong with that?

I try to avoid making my Bed as well. But yah, when I change the bed, that old Cadet part of my mind kicks in and you can bounce random pocket change off of it. That and I make nice Hospital corners. :)

i'm all about the hospital corners as well. i got it from my mom.
doesn't get used often on my bed though. i can go nuts though if i'm making someone elses! haha.

I go to clean mine and Geoffs room... I clean all my clothes up n stuff.. then I realize.. how the shit can I finish cleaning our room.. when I dunno wut clothes of his are dirty or not.. n where to put it.. ugh.

i prefer cleaning other peoples rooms or homes over my own - i guess because their random shiney things don't intrigue me the way mine do (like a note from grade 10 or some treasure like that)
