Why isn't everyone on the planet driving Toyotas and Hondas?

My first car was an 82 honda accord that lasted long enough to be driven by males of three generations of my family. True, I eventually drove it into the ground, until a fateful night when parts started falling off it not too far from where I now type this... but it was an honorable death, like a Samurai.

heh heh I'm thankful of the fact that I can take parts from any Lincoln from 1980 - 1991, Mustang from 1979 - 1993, Astro Van, F-150 and any Mercury Clone and fit it to my Car... hell even the engines... I can fit anything from a 302 (which I already have) to a 460 in it. :) I <3 Domestic interchangability.

We've had good times.

Lawrence - that's the bad part. My parts are as cheap as they can get because my mom's friend gets a huge discount, and he only charges me like $20/hour for labour, so I pay $20/hour plus parts at cost...not too bad, right? Well sure, but when it's going to be $1000 at those rates, it's so not worth it.

I have to wait until at least November for the Eclipse...unless my Grandparents take pity on me and the problem car they gave to me and help me out! Doubt it!

you can do that wiht hondas too...especially with civics engine swaps are quite common.

and the after market for hondas is fuckin huge.

but most of em are still slower then fuck.
