Well as bad as it is, circumstances considered, I hope that her friends and family are a little supportive, because if they had the same attitude as we do that wouldn't help the poor girl much. Most likely she got her self way over her head here......Im sure we all made mistakes, and bad decisions, she just was one of the unkucky few that got burned it's all percentages.
I hope she makes out all right in the long run. |

they're not scaring kids enough in elementarty schools.
when i was taught about the birds and bees in elementary school ... it wasnt even really about sex...we kinda learned where babies came from, we learned about periods...and that was about it. we were never scared. which kids nowadays really should be. someone out there should realize that we're not gonna be able to stop kids from experimenting...from doing stupid things...especially at younger ages... therefore they need someone to stand in front of them at the age of say 13 and drill this stuff into them...teach them how to wear condoms, teach them about pregnancy...about stds...about ruining their lives...etc i mean its so sad that this girl cant even have a first job yet...and already she has to start preparing for a baby...when she's just a baby herself. we cant wait until highschool to learn about this stuff anymore. its disgusting. in my highschool...i think there were two teenage moms...thats it...now i hear about it almost daily... |

This is sad, BUT it does present an opportunity to get in the Guinness book of world records. If she ends up having the baby at age 14, and her kid also has a baby at age 14, and so on, here is what happens:
14 - she is a mother 28 - grandmother 42 - great grandmother 56 - great great grandmother 70 - great great great grandmother 84 - great great great great grandmother You could have 7 generations of the family in one room! Making the whole thing worthwhile, right? Plus they would all get on Jay Leno. Last edited by tvmann; Sep 13, 04 at 12:37 PM. |

wow girls start ovulating at the age of 14?! jk. that is really disturbing.. sex didn't cross my mind til the age of 16ish. hmmm i hope the sex ed program in elementary school AND highschool gets better within the next few years. it really has been getting younger and younger. scary. those highschools with daycares in them sickens me.. yes its good to promote education to those who made a life changing mistake, but i dont like how it promotes it as well, and gives the sense that there will always be some kind of help out there.
