ARGGGGG! Ok Im sick of this.
A section of my company has mailed out this add to previous clients.
It is supposed to give them this great package deal for the winter season on lodging and lift passes.
But the thing is so misleading. And instead of setting up an easy package, you have to deal with angry clients every time they call in to book a package.
First thing that pisses them off is that the company has decided to use their regular letter head for the mail out. It shows all the properties they own down the side of the letter. Which makes clients think that they can book any one of them. Since there is nothing on this letter that specifies the actual properties that are participating they get upset when I have to tell them that they can only book certain ones. They start getting mad at me for misleading them. Then when they finaly agree to book. They ask me to check for a studio for them. It states on the letter that the package is based on studios. But for some reason the company seems to think that a studio is the same as a hotel room. So two out of the three properties are hotel rooms. Which again pisses clients off. YAY!!!!
Then if we get this far before they start bitching about false advertising again.
I find that the only room that is a studio, is not even available for an entire month, or even the span of the total promotion. And even the other rooms are not there to book most of the time. So pretty much I just have to deal with pissed off people because of this thing. Because it doesn't explain shit.
W00t!
