speeding ticket while I was at work!

Dear Sir / Madam

On Sept 23, 2004 between 10:30am and 12:30pm (which is when I was at work) on/or at 28100 block of Dewdney Trunk Rd, using a portable radar unit and digital readout board, volunteers with the Ridge Meadows RCMP Speed Watch Program recorded a vehicle with the above noted license plate travelling at least 53kph over the speed limit of 60 kph.

Please note that if you had been ticketed for this offence you would have been required to pay a $368 fine.

Motor Vehicle Branch records indicate that you are the licenced owner of the vehicle. As you know, the licenced owner of the vehicle is legally responsible for the vehicle and for any offences committed with the vehicle while it is being operated with his/her knowledge and consent.
