Lying mofo's on Blackcomb's snow phone

You call the snow phone number to get the condition report, they say 'High overcast skies, unlimited visibility' and this is at 6am.

So I get my gear together, pick up my friend, drive all the way up there, gear up, get to the top of the Excaliber chair and guess what?

Can see SHIT! I couldn't make out anything past 20 feet.

On the lightboard the visibility is 'green' meaning good.

So we do ONE run to get back to the gondola and try to get our money back. Now get this, since we are locals we get a bunch of shit like 'we normally don't give refunds due to weather problems...' but the lady from the states right beside us gets first class treatment for her ticket return.

What a waste of time. Fuck I hate that place.

Sorry... I get grumpy when the end of snowboard season is near.

man that fucking sucks. they should give u a refund because they told you it was good. obviously if it wasn't clear you wouldn't have gone out. DUH!

that's hurting...i can't believe the little people that actually go all year round are actually treated worse then the international less frequent visitors of the mountain...i mean yeah they might be spendin a nice buck but we're the ones that are keepin it alive all year round...stupid americans...

silly americans...

not only is the whole money thing an issue but it's also the time it takes to drive up. i only live about an hour and a bit away from whistler/blackcomb...45 minutes if i drive..MWAHAHAHAH...but still....gas is expensive and shit.
