Chinese food debacle.

Feeling lazy, decided to order chinese food.. it's expensive, but whatever, I can make a few lunches out of it for work this week and kill two birds with one stone.

Grab the menu that's on our fridge.. never heard of the place.. "China Kitchen"... sounds dubious, but whatever.

1 and 1/2 hours later they finally manage to get the fucking food to my apartment. This "food" turns out to be barely edible, despite the fact that I'm starving by this point. So 30 dollars later, not only have I had a shitty dinner but I'm debating whether to just throw the rest of it out. So much
for having lunches for work.

Here's to trying new things!

I mean 30 dollars isn't too bad when ordering food for delivery ...

But when it's barely edible ! ? !

Thanks for the advice guys. I should definetly try Hons, heard many good things. Do they deliver to Kits I wonder?

Just passed the place in question on my way back from getting groceries. I knew it was close but I didn't know it was goddamn walking distance! 1 and 1/2 hours to deliver food 4 blocks?!?

Yeah, I like Hons too, its very cheap and only gives me mild heartburn. Most of the good Chinese places are gone, but Main St. has a few goodies left. Ohh, don't forget Penny's on Hastings and that 24 pho place on Nanaimo and Kingsway. MMMmmm..
