Personally, I call it the "loss of raver innocence" - the point when you actually realize what you're doing, what the scene really is, and how retarded you actually look in phat pants. Shit, when I first got on FNK, I wrote a post "5 reasons why rave is dead". That was my version of your plea - does anyone remember that? Everyone goes through it, but it doesn't have to mean the end. It just means the end of being young and idealistic. You'll find soon that club events - ones that bring out Sasha, Cox and Tiesto - are far better and far more fun to go to. Welcome to the club and congradulations on moving onto the next stage in your life. |

more or less i agree with you.
the crowd at massvies are completly different from what i used to see back in the day. for 1 there were more people at massvies back then due to the laws. plaza when sold out used to fill up crazy unlike how it was for the past couple years. back then i see more so called "plur" around. more friendly people coming up talking, more people dressing up to the "trend" at the time. But none the less it is still what u make of it. I can care less how other people are now at raves. Bottom line is i still go cause i love the music and i go and have my own fun. What other people are doing at the raves dont concern me at all. |

That's pretty universal.
Your reasons for partying will vary as you get older. Eventually you may decide you don't want to party anymore, and there's no shame in that. You can always come back later. Most of the older people on here have done something of that fashion over the whiles they've been in the scene. Don't worry. It'll still be here when you get back. |
