I had a friend ages ago who nearly lost his life due to a hit and run.

I had another friend who witnessed a hit and run, and the individual who was struck ended up going through the windshield of his mustang as he was heading the other way.

If you didn't leave any info I'm certainly the type of person who would contact the authorities with info.

Now if you wish to consider that indepth CSI work that's your deal, I consider it being a decent human being.

Anyways this reminds me as this weekend I COULD have ran over a good 5 ppl while driving down town. Not as it was my fault, but my god... ppl on cell phones not looking, ppl not understanding one way stress, or just corssing the road thinking they own the road with out a car?
Seriously if I wasnt in such a calm paceint mood willing to slow down I could of hit tons of ppl this weekend alone!!!

if my friend did an actual H&R like that, don't u think it woulda made some good news headline by now?
like that time in richmond when the dood hit the policeman and took off. or my buddy who got hit by a bus.

i didnt really read all the posts.. but yah.. i do think its extremely sad how ppl hit jaywalkers and pedestrians..and a a girl i know got hit by a speeding car while she was crossing at a crosswalk so i know how traumatizing it can be. although, i have been in an experience where a guy walked right infront of my car while i was going down a hill! i had to slam on my breaks and swerve! scared the crap out of me! i would never hit and run but jaywalkers are stupid and need to learn how to use a cross walk!.

2) You're exploiting, as myra already said, people's sense of compassion for others
3) You're finding fault with those who show that compassion... I'm not sure why??
