Baking
I hate, hate, HATE baking, but sometimes it's got to be done. I used a couple pans of Dutch shortbread that my Mum has made bc I was so sick I didn't have time to make some for my coworkers. So I was making some to replace them today, and it was going really well, until I put them in the oven and walked away. THEY ARE SO DARK! I forgot about them and now they are too crispy and no good. I am SO SAD :( This is horrible. I hate baking and now I hafta do even more. $%@&#!!!

if you dont have a timer... make your self do somethign.. that will consume the time... that it takes to bake.. cause once your done that..t hen you'll think of something else.. n be like' OH SHIT FOOD!'
that usually work for me.

How about we make a deal... I bake and you eat what i bake... I dont usually like eating nearly as many cookies as i bake... or cakes... when i get into the kitchen there aint no stoppin me... get the fuck out of my way and dont touch the speakers. Lol :D

I'm a freaking regular Jessica Simpson in the kitchen. Honestly. I make the BIGGEST mess and it takes me like 4 times as long as a normal person to prep the ingredients. That whole wet/dry ingredients thing... Something always goes terribly wrong and half of it ends up flying out of the bowl!
Bitchin - That is a wonderful idear. See I have a poor concept of time, so I need to pay GOOD attention to the time I put it in and how long it needs to be out. It was half an hour so I could have watched tellie or something. Nat had a good tip last night at Mikey and Brian's: She said to write down what time u put it in and when u need to take it out! ppcock - I will try to avoid oven craziness from now on. Seriously... Anyhting thats longer than 15 minutes and I get distracted bc that is too long to sit in the kitchen and stare at the oven. LOL. Maybe I should take culinary arts... Shorerider - I am hot, actually. A pastry chef, hey? Your offer sounds pretty sweet to me... But perhaps not to my bf :P I don't think he wants people coming to bake with me based on the premise of me being hot. Rhia - I HATE greasing pans. Eww... YUCK! I am so messy its unbelievable. My mum didn't want me to make the second batch last night bc she'd already finished recleaning the big mess I made the first time! pillowstealer I like the way u think! That is an excellent plan. unless of course, like shorerider, you are coming over bc I am hot. LOL. I hate baking but LOVE eating it. Hehe.
