Money for a Christmas Gift
Money has to be the most impersonal Christmas gift in the history of man kind. It says either you know nothing about the person you are getting a gift for, or it says you couldn't be bothered to go out and buy them a gift, what a huge insult. When it comes to christmas gifts it's the thought that counts not how much it was worth, or what you got it's the thought behind it. Birthdays on the other hand who cares, give all the money you want I mean who cares your one year older big deal.

i find birthdays are more personal than christmas. but that might just be like bitter-christmas-hating little girl in me.

You know I always use to ask my mom for money instead of presents for christmas when I was younger, she would always say "It comes from the heart Tara." I didn't get it then, I get it now thow. Thanx Mommy!:keebler:

NAATUUUURREE goulet!

My dad started giving me $$$ a few years ago from Xmas.. it's recognition of the fact I'm busting my ass to get by.. I could make do without his money, but this makes things a lot more comfortable.

Thing is, I also get a stocking filled with tons of hilarious (though often useless) crap that I look forward to as well.. I think money is a good thing to get as long as it's not ALL you get.

Boy now I sound greedy. Anyways.....

i would rather get money. first of all, i dont expect anyone to get me anything for christmas... but if someone is gonna buy me something i would rather them just give me the cash so i can get something i like, rather than have them waste their money on something im gonna never going to use.
