ear infections

GROSS!

So, I have a really bad one, and it HURTS! PLUS I flew back today, and my ears popped and leaked gross stuff the whole flight. It so wasn't cool.

I am in pain.

Can I have a hug?

yeah infections suck.. I have a stye in my right eye and just kept getting bigger so now that I'm home sweet home I got some ointment..

it makes my vision all blurry.. stupid piece of crap.. can't wait till it starts pussing out and infecting the rest of my eye *shudders*

or else.. maybe it'll grow so big that it'll look like i have two heads

*ugh* a puss head.. imagine that.. you guys can pop it for me... if it grows that big.

soak a clean washcloth in warm water to create a compress and apply it to the affected area for ten to fifteen minutes, repeat this process all through out the day. also rubbing gold on the affected area has been known to work too.

i like it when my ears pop on the plane, but i have never leaked gross stuff

thx for the tip frogprincess..

I'm a lil afraid that doing so might cause a worse infection... because apparently I'm not supposed to touch it : (

i just hope it goes away ;*(

I used to get tons and tons of ear aches. I have made serveral trips to emergency with them cause it hurt so much. I can always tell when I'm going to be getting a cold cause my left ear plugs up. I have learned to take tons and tons of decongestants to keep my ears from plugging up and turning into ear aches/infections. Other than that, I can't help ya anymore.

That's nuts! That's exactly like me!
All of my life I've had bad ear infections, I've had operations and everything.
But yeah- my left ear is the first to get infected always, too.

ya, so another thing I would recommend to help you cope with this, is Advil Cold N Sinus. I pop like 2 and they keep me going and basically just mask up the pain, but it allows me to function through the ear ache.

hmmm...most of that over the counter stuff just makes me feel really weird, and even worse. I need the medication, which I think I will be able to obtain in the next few days from my school doctor.
Advil is what keeps me keep on truckin'. :262:

wash your hands before and make sure to use a clean cloth, trust me it'll help a lot.
