It just pisses me off when people don't believe that people shouldn't have a right to judge what they say over a message board.

And I also agree with the fact that people won't say the same things when you see them in person. I however am willing to. I have been challanged in the past do and have done so.

You still haven't answered why you're being a jackass. What's the controversy in going to a section like Punching Bag and venting about an UN-NAMED person? And you’re calling her pretentious? I don't think that it's a validation of me, rather that I think it's really cool to find someone who will listen to the points other people present.

And what controversy is there? She claims it's for private venting, and I claim that you shouldn't expect private venting on a public message board. But maybe I'm wrong, maybe posting on a web page that gets a visit from about a hundred diffrent people a day, is indeed private....

I think that I mentioned why I "hijacked" this thread:

That's my point, and since this is a public message board, with the whole idea being that someone posts an idea/thought and other people reply with their ideas/thoughts, I don't think there is anything wrong with me replying to this thread.

It was private inasmuch that she wouldn't name the person involved and she was just looking for some support on the situation, which I consider classy.

If your whole point is that you have the 'right' to say anything you want because it's a public message board, then thanks for establishing what is abundantly obvious. If you can graduate beyond simple fodder and have something to say, then more power to ya :)
