Body's ability to renew foils crime spree
If that isn't the most abstract subject line I've ever posted, I dunno what is.
So there's 3 "punching bag" worthy points in this post.. Number one has to do with picking up a sign stand at the end of my work day on Thurs. This sign stand is a heavy fucker with a prop that swings out when you want it to stand up. This prop also swings CLOSED when you pick it up by the other part, and when it swings CLOSED on your FINGER it really HURTS.
So there's one.
The upside (or so it appeared) was that I'd pinched my finger bad enough that a good layer of skin on what I believe is my ring finger cut open. This skin was damaged in the area of my fingerprint.. leading me to get all excited about the potential for a crime spree the police would be powerless to stop!
"Chief, we're 90% sure of who it is but... Dammit, we just can't get a positive match on these prints!"
And in case you think I'm weird for thinking this, I had 3 different people suggest the same thing when I told them of my injury. It's a thin line that holds the average person back from a life of crime!
So today, during work it became apparent that a section of skin was ready to come loose, I was stoked. Until... I peeled it off and found.. a new fingerprint underneath$@!@$
FUCK YOU PERSISTENT FINGERPRINT
That would be #2.
What's #3?
It really hurts to type right now :(
Cheers,
ow,
Dave
PS ---> Yes this was all just an excuse to gross you out. Hope you enjoyed it. =D
