Edgewater Casino ruined Plaza
checked out the new casino at plaza of nations and all i can say is damn, you guys ruined the building. besides location, i do understand why they used plaza of nations for a casino. they have panelled off every single window. i went in the day time and it was dark in there, it made no sense to me, they even built a roof to block off the glass roof. they took away the essence of the building. if there was an enterance from the underground parkinglot into the casino and people entered from that way, you would probably not realize that you are in a building made of glass. i'm pretty sure this rage arrised from my emotional ties to the building from countless R@VER memories of goodtimes at the building lol, but from a different perspective, plaza of nations is one of vancouvers more well known landmarks, which means it should be showcased in a better way, edgewater should atleast remove their artificial roof so some daylight can shine into the casino.

actually, the kill button doesn't rotate between players. it goes to the player who won the pot. if that person wins the next pot the kill is on! which means that the bets double (so in a 4/8 game it would turn to 8/16) and the player who has the kill button has to an 8$(in a 4/8 table which now is a 8/16) blind before cards are dealt.
it just means that there is more money going into the pot. you can easily win a lot of money this way. but damn you lose your money fast too. |
