^ From what my friends told me, in one case the specialist was a fucking moron, and in the other case the insisions (sp?) got infected (probably not the specialist's fault).

^well dont go to a fucking moron specialist then, and the infectiuon thing is most likely the persons fault; you gotta clean them after you eat with a syringe. that was the worst part of it all, the hassle.

I'd probably take that more into consideration than if they're specialists or not.

I got all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out like 8-9 years ago. I was given the choice of getting it done at the hospital or just in an oral surgeons office, I opted for the hospital. when I came to afterwards they pumped me full of morphine and I spent the entire drive home going "haha, ow". lol
my T3 prescription, jello, malted milk ice cream cups and cool soup helped me get through it all. over all it wasn't too bad of an experience, not great but not horrible/horrific at all.
anyways, just thought I'd share..

All four on the same visit, just freezing! BEST TIME EVER AT THE DENTIST, I heard my wisdoms crack in two, and the holes! The hole were great for getting food into.

bleargh something else i fear. i wish you luck in your healing, it's funny to talk to people after they've gone through the procedure but oh the pain and horror to experience it yourself.

mine have been SLOWLY moving up since i was 17, i'm now 21, and they're just crowning.
coke rubbed on the gums helps.
it's sad to say but i do not dread the surgery that is sure to come, the IV of morphine and valium sounds just dandy.

The dentist has been telling me that I have to get them removed, but they don't hurt one bit and they seem totally fine? I think the dentist is just trying to make 2 thousand bucks ;P
