Monster Twitches

The kind you get just as you are dropping off to sleep.

And if you have fallen asleep with a book or a remote in your hand you end up throwing it across the room and the clatter further wakes you. The noise makes you wake up swinging cause you think someone is there and you are ready to fight for your life.

GRRRRRRRR.

Stupid monster twitches.

There are a number of irritations of this world that I actually enjoy.

One is my foot being asleep (or rather waking up)... I know it feels like pins and needles... don't people pay like $100 an hour to have pins and needles stuck into them?

The other is nervous twitches. Especially when they're hash-induced.

I don't mind the sleeping appendages.

But the monster twitches scare me. I always think the boogeyman is in the house and he is going to eat me.

I was one of those kids that jumped from the bed to the door at night in fear that the monster under the bed would grab my ankles.

I despise the Charlie Horse though.

my gf does the twich thing all the time, hell she did it last night!! very rarely does she do the monster twich though...thats reserved for special events.

she usually does it right as she's falling asleep and then TWICH she's back awake...instead of being slapped I usually get kicked in the shin instead

I had a nap earlier [i just woke up] and I was falling asleep.. was in the process of JUST starting to dream.. and I was dreaming that I sliped and feel..... as that was happneing.. I had a HUGE twitch.. woke me up.. oi.
but feel back asleep after.

I've done that. It was first period one morning, I had just sent a txt, I was falling asleep. I twitched and threw my phone across the class.

I have this feeling all the time...well not really all the time but its been happening for years, since I was a kid. This is only topped by the feeling of being killed in a dream. Your goin along just fine and dandy having a weird dream of some sort, then it comes to the climax of your dream...your just about to get shot then BAM!!!! you wake and your like "what the fuck!?!?!?"
