I can't help but break out laughing when I hear that shit... thing about r&b is that very few artists now hold their notes... so much of it is weaving in and out of notes because they can only reach it for a split second... they try to make it out as finesse but true finesse is having actual control of your vocals, not just having them shoot all over the place... also, the goal of r&b is to reach the highest note possible, so a lot of these people, when they sing live, hit the one high note, and then miss everything in between...

Am I the only one who think's Myra's rack has gotten a whole lot bigger? I was fond of the rack with $5 bill(s).
R&B and Hip-Hop in general are crap. My reading is that they represent -to a greater or lesser extent - things in life I try to avoid. Consumerism, intolerance, aggression, one upmanship, willful disregard for others, disrespect for police, and relative closemindedness of issues beyond their own life. I don't doubt the talent and drive of these people, but their subject matters are about as insightful as those of the Offspring.
