Knowing you failed a test
And yes I did study.
I hate philosiphy. Who would have thought it would be all fromulas and turning sentences into equations. Well atleast I believe half the class failed cause most of us were still their when the hour and 1/2 was up. First time to that I have ever had to stay the entire time for the test. Yet i did so well on the first exam too, there goes my average :( |

Knowing I failed my math tests in high school, more than once per semester... was never a surprise to me, lol.
No matter how hard I studied, I always found the actual tests to be way harder than the usual material that we covered in class. So I was at least happy that I DID try and tried my best on the test, regardless of the fail. |

I fucking hate philosophy, too
Some people said smart things, but fuck, who cares about the shit sokrates, plato or aristoteles said more than 2000 years ago... I studied all of them, and it would have been way more interesting studying engels, wittgenstein, or freud.... And it takes me a long time until I get the concept of those ideas ( it took me forever to understand kant..... ) |

I am just lucky that since we have only 4 tests this semester our best 3 are worth 30% when our wosre is worth 10%. I am just scared that this might happen with my next test
and this has nothing to do with sokrates, plato or aristoteles and mark that fromula there is called Hypothedical Syllogism I understand the basic 8 rules but it is the 10 equivalence rules that i cant get my head to completly wrap around, but i find turning the fromulas into # help a bit to remember, but not much |

The reason you can't get the equivalence rules is because you probably don't know why they are equivalent. The reason they are equivalent is because when using a 2 value truth system each row in their truth tables are the same. You need to learn how the connectives ( and, or, material implication, negation) take 2 truth values as inputs and act as function determining a single output truth value for the formula. This maybe a little over your head but ask your teacher what truth tables are and how to use them. If you master the use of truth tables you will have an INDEPENDANT standard to check whether two formulas are equivalent or not. Once you know this you literally can't get anything wrong. |
