I've realized that the entire right half of my monitor has gone ten tequila blurry. It just started happening in the last week. The speaker besie it is shielded and it's about four years old. Is this fixable or do I have to go do some haggling again?

yeah, but not if you have speakers next to them without enough shielding. degaussing gets rid of magnetic fields, but is there to remove natural magnetism from the earth, not strong speakers. bummer.
