Stupid piece of shit modem resetting itself every damn 2 minutes.Everytime I call shaw there clueless as to what is happening.

They'll probably swap you a new modem if they make a service call. They did that for me. Didn't change anything much, I think I had line problems down the street but not bad now.

the only problem for me is downloading limits :256: :296:

Finally, somebody who can relate! I was instructed that I would need to reduce my up/down traffic or they would charge me overages per MB. He said,

I did the same thing while at a hotel in Hawaii; my God, it was the most freakin' superamazing awesome-to-the-max network in existence! I transfered 110 GB+ overnight. Unfortunately, by the next morning my hardware address had been banned from the entire Fairmont network, forever. :239:

LOL 220gb... the most I have downloaded was like around 40gb/month

now I just try to keep it under 30gb/month... they haven't called or phoned in a while... I wouldn't attempt to get over too much...

the thing is we share the internet with 3 computers in the house, we paid the additional IP bullshit, we should've get AT LEAST 60gb/month

I used this program called DU Meter to count/warn me about download/upload limits, if u want it i also got a LEGIT key

I was on their old server before they finished upgrades in this area... I was getting 600K/sec uploads :D When they swapped it for the shitty new modem the guy was like 'we've been after you for a while now.. hah'

Damn shaw. Half the time its them, half the time its flaky wireless. Id probably switch to ADSL, but I dont have a land line at my place (go fido)

dont get me started on fido.. @!#$@
