I'm taking the Emergency Medical Responder/Advanced OFA3 course, sort of like a paramedic/first aid attendant thing, that requires me to have a doctor fill out a certificate of fitness.
Ie: can lift 50-100 pounds regularly, not a drug addict, in shape etc. So I stop by the walk in clinic to get it filled out. They say I have to book an appointment. ( Walk-In clinic...appointment?) Two weeks before the nearest time. I agree, not wanting to shell out 100$ for a walk in at the hospital. I arrive 5 minutes early. Wait 30 minutes before they put me in a room. Wait another 25 min for the doctor ( nice guy though, btw). He takes my blood pressure, asks me 9 questions and ticks half a dozen boxes on a peice of paper and signs it. He saw me for 3 minutes. It cost me $45; not impressed. I want to become a doctor. Bastards. |
