i figured as much. i'm not expecting a deal on a new phone every 6 months or anything. i've had this one phone for over 2 years now though.

i understand i can't cancel the account myself, that wasn't the problem. i'm supposed to have full access to everything else though (and have before) but they keep fucking around with that. it's in my dads name, but he gave me full control.

i'm not on a contract though. i never was. i was more irritated by the fact that when i first called to try and do that, they didn't even tell me. THEN when it actually was, they tried to make me keep my plan the same (about $70/month) when i'm not even using it AT all since i've already gotten a new phone. not to mention they're convinced our other phone is on a contract, when it never was.

yeah, i just hate getting screwed around. not to mention every customer service rep i've been getting lately has been SO rude to me. i wouldn't be as irritated if they weren't so rude, since i'm never rude or angry towards them.
ah well. it's mostly done and over with (well, in about 30 days it will be ;))
