Its like treating a burn... a cold bath and lots of alovera.
I burnt myself really bad in austraila once to the point I had a few blisters. I know what you mean you cant even wear cloths. I kept myself coverd for the next week trying not to expose any skin to the sunlight and stayed cool much as possible. I was feeling better after a few days. For the itch... try baby powder. I used this method when I had prickly heat on my arms in Thailand. Also keep the skin dry, cool, and out of sunlight. Took about a week or two till it stoped itching completly. I might be wrong, but my best guess is soaps & oils are the worst thing for your skin. Take care! Last edited by Ree Fresh; Apr 27, 05 at 04:57 PM. |

^shes got it right.
ive burned twice in my life time to a point of blistering. the first time was in mexico and i got severe heat stroke with it as well. my bikini line was blistered... fuck did that suck. i used vitamen e oil, made it feel oodles better. a couple of years ago i fell asleep at kits beach - fully clothed - but i had my arms stretched out so my back had a little tiny bit of skin exposed. hours later i was in alot of pain, and my back was blistering. (i still have the stripe scar on my back) that night i had vitamen e oil again put directly on it, and again throughout the next week as much as i could. i wouldnt use soaps or lotions - you cant always trust them. alot of aloe products have alcohol in them when hurts like hell when you put it on. grab some vitamen e gell pills at your local pharmasy, and smother that shit on. the burn on my back actually bled, so i went to my doctor and she prescirbed me vitamen e ointment - you can get it over the counter. same sort of consistancy as polysporn, only more natural and has more effectiveness for the burn then for a cut. it will protect your burn in the water when you shower and stuff if you put it on thickley as well. |
