The whole book of Leviticus is clear. But it's nothing anybody really follows today.

Chapter 27 talks a lot about shekels and the price of penance for the temples. People don't deal in shekels anymore. But it's pretty clear that's the holy denomination.

For crying out loud, read the book. There's a lot more than simple little small quotes that can be so easily and readily taken out of context to suit an agenda based on fear.

Well yes, there are a lot of laws & practices in the old testiment are no longer required. This is because of Christ and the new covenant: replacing the old one with the jews. These laws were between God and the Jews and most were to do with being clean/unclean ect.
I can't honestly see how the practice of homosexuality would be forbidden at first, then okayed because of the coming of the Messiah.
Keep in mind the Ten Commandments were old Testiment, and they are fully relevant to christians today.

As I already posted, Jesus freed mankind from all the stupid sacrifices for both the largest and the smallest of sins...Why should homosexuality be any different?

And no where in the 10 commandments does it say "thou shalt not be gay".

Fuck man! The reason the fucking ROMANS fed Christians to the lions was because of religion. They persecuted the Christians the same way that the Christians are now persecuting ANYONE who doesn't believe in that stupid fucking book (and hell, this goes for ANY religion for that matter. Look at what's happening in the middle east and in Sudan, not to mention what happened from 9/11 onward.) People are dying EVERY DAY because their beliefs conflict with someone else's.

This world is so full of hate, it hurts me (like the little 5-year-old girl I saw with her father at the skytrain. There was an ad for one of those men-only chat lines, and she looked and pointed at it and said to her father "Those men are looking at each other." Her father resonded with "Those men are sick freaks." TO A FUCKING 5 YEAR OLD.) What is so wrong with letting people be happy with their own beliefs/lifestyle? Why are people so hell-bent on teaching hate and intolerance instead of acceptance? That doesn't sound like what Jesus taught at all. And while God gave us all free will, that doesn't mean that he's not sitting up in heaven crying about what we've done with it.

i'm not against it, if people are in love and wish to get married it shouldn't matter if it is the same sex, a goat, a turtle or a little fuzzy squirrell, tho the last three would be a little odd. i also don't think it's other people's place to tell others who they can marry, it ain't their choice to make.

First i just want to clear that fact that i do not hate gays. I've said this already, I dont hate them, i dont hate Sidekick, hes probably a very nice guy. I dont hate them i just disagree with being gay. Whatever you say won't convince me that people can be born being gay.
