one christmas my cat ate tinsil - poor guy had it hanging from his butt by the end of the day.

cats eat spiders and shit, a little string isnt going to hurt them. my cats eat dog food sometimes.

he puked again.... im sure he'll be ok.. but if hes still sick tommorow... gonna bring him into the vet....

ps.. this wasnt a little thread.... its a drawstring to a pair of pants... so.. long enough to go around my waist... :-/

My sister's cat ate a string once, and let it pass through his system... Long story short, they found him bolting around the house "running away" from the half of string hanging out his ass. Shortly after, the rubber gloves were called into play, and all was well after.

only instead of puking it up, i saw him dragging his butt on the carpet and picked him up to check things out

sure enough the string was hanging out of his ass, overed in shit
i had to hold him while jim/cubed pulled the string out

i have three little guys i love em...but cats eat things they think when they see string it is a mouse tail. natural instinct, so they chase it!!! same with flying objects they think its a bird...hence the whole "cat toys"

i think he will be just fine..i think you probably know that now...but i find my cats are silly too they do messed up stuff all the time..i wouldnt recommend pot unless you dont care how long your cat lives for or how stupid it becomes...

my friend give there cats pot ,stupidest cats now!!!

cat nip if you wanna give it a treat..i know everyone knows that...

back to the subject....this is what makes cats special..they do stupid things just like ppl and thats what makes them uneek...animals rock and they will always love you....:)

if i told you the shit my cats do you would think they are on crack or something ...thats what keeps me entertained and it means there happy and healthy

they say that if you have a cat dont get tinsle cause it can wrap up in its intestines and can kill em..so string can be a small cause for concern if it doesnt come out ither end..my vet told me...

your kitty is lucky. that string eating is a dangerous, bad habit he has... my friends cat had the same habit and one day he ate a smaller type piece of string and it got caught around his toungue and in his throat, luckily the vet was able to get it out or he probably would have choked to death or something.some cats are very strange.. my cat likes to eat toilette paper .. I can't imagine that being very healthy for a cat either... animals are soo odd sometimes =\
