stupid bitch..

it's like my 5th time driving, and my first time driving out in public in a standard and so i may bunny hop a little.. but i DO have an 'L' on the back of my car.. so FUCK off!

just a tip. if you're learning stick best to do it at night. less traffic and all that jazz.

yup. that's when i've been practicing most. gives you more room for mistakes, so it's a bit safer (and less embarassing if you do screw up)

but learning how to drive to a manual, when you already know how to drive is a bit easier i think.

^ I'm with you girl... the L and N's are on the back of your vehicle to alert other drivers to your situation. Honking/yelling at new drivers does nothing but rattle their nerves. Pass em and move on. Remember, you were learning to drive one day a long time ago too..!

^ yeah i got so stressed out after that. i wasn't even doing that badly considering.. just slow at getting started after the light went green to make sure i didn't stall the car and take even longer.. but after she yelled at me i got so freaked out and started making so many mistakes..

I drive standard, and seriously, don't worry about the jackasses. When I was learning, my dad just took me out to farm roads where there was no one around, and since I learned on a BMW and a porsche, now I can drive pretty much anything. I think when you're learning, any road with other traffic on it isn't for you. Obviously you're going to get nervous, and as soon as you loose it, you'll stall. Once you learn what the car needs and shit, it'll be no problem.

And about other drivers? Don't worry about it... Just think.. they're in their car, and you're in yours... So fuck 'em. You're in your car, driving around, having fun, so screw everyone else.

Yea, it was a lot of fun to drive. Obviously, it wasn't mine, and I haven't touched it since (except for when my parents went away and I skipped classes to take it out with a friend... lol, I'm a hard core bad ass... until my neighbour saw me....).
