my addiction to pop
so for the past 6 months its been out of control... ive been going through FLATS of coca-cola. and at work we have unlimited amount of pop we can drink..and the cups i drink out of can fit like 2 pints of beer.. (its a big cup).. and i drink about 2-3 cups that size a day. if i dont drink it at work i have to drink a can or 2 at home. its become an addiction.. my stomach craves for it when i wake up. something strange is going on.
lately ive been trying to fool my tummy by drinking soda water.. its kinda worked, but i dont get that same sugar rush that keeps my day going. on the plus side i have cut down my coffee/caffiene intake. so what do u think..is coffee worst for u, or pop? |

my aunt is mentally and physically addicted to pepsi, she has been for about 30 years, if she doesen't have pepsi she will violently throw up, break out in hives and go fucking bonkers, it's weird.
myself, I drink about 4 to 5 dr peppers a day. :( |

the soda water has been working.. but whenever i tell soemone to grab me a drink and i say soda water they give me a weird look and end up pouring me a coke. ahhhh!! soda water seems more carbonated than coke..so when i drink it i cant really taste whats going down my throat, but yet i can taste the fizzies..so it tricks my mind.

heh, I used to have the same problem.
but then like 6 months ago I decided to quit cold turkey. It's kinda hard but I just didn't think about it. I just drink water instead now. I have the occaisonal pop but now that's about once every week or every two weeks. |

on and off coke addict (hahaha :P)
I'll quit, but I'll go to starbucks, then the downward spiral begins... there are stages that I go through when starting back up 1) juice 2) espresso/frappes 3) diet pops 4) pops not coke (at this point I might as well just drink coke) 5) regular coke I'm at stage 4 right now... its awful... and when the cigarette issue has been dealt with pop is going to be next... one thing though that I noticed helped a lot was going to the gym... going to the gym was probably the only concrete reason why I quit (there are many reasons to quit of course, but the gym is a much more direct reason)... which reminds me... I should be getting back into that habit... after my last coke...... |
