My bank reconciliation - it is out by such a hinky number. And I can't freaking find it.....

I am balancing the Canadian fund account for a whole company. Thank GOD the US account is already done and balanced.

hey avana what bank do you work for...ill be looking for a job at the retail level in september, how did you get it was it through a placement agency?

and she's reconsiling the bank.

like matching the bank statement to what is in the accounting system.

I work for a company downtown.....

I finally got everything to balance....it had to do with errors made in the previous months reconciliation, which I wasn't here for then.

But all is good in the hood.....only five more companies and bank accounts to reconcile.

Uuuugh I am in the same boat right now.
A client from my old job had me do his accounting for him a couple of years ago, and when his company started to grow he hired a professional accountant. Well, this guy royally fucked up and now I'm back on the boat BUT I have to re-do everything and in order to do that I have to reverse ALL of the work he did because he took short cuts and ended up costing my client a huge amount of money when it came time for taxes. Oi.
