swearing at complete strangers
I'll start this off by saying that I curse like a sailor, but only around my friends or people I know/are farmiliar with.
I find people that use foul language or profanity to complete strangers to be incredibly rude, and the action one of the tackiest things ever. An example of such is being at the grocery store and having the person in front of you swear at the cashier over something, or doing it at a bus driver, etc. Everytime I see it I just look at these people in awe and think 'wow, were you raised in a barn?' I don't care if you like swearing! Swear all you want! Just save it for yourself and those you know, because otherwise you just look like an idiot. You're an adult, and I don't care how bad of a day you're having, so go ahead and act like one. manners, learn them, live them, love them! |

People who swear at strangers such as cashiers could be doing it for the shock value, to get what they want (respect the nutcase, he might be dangerous). To be safe I'd assume the worse about someone like that, like they might be a psycho, have a knife in their pocket, etc, who knows.
There's quite a few idiot drivers who will yell at random pedestrians as they drive by them, for no reason at all. |

sometimes though the swears just slip out, happens to me all the time...
im so bad that at my old job selling computers i would sometimes say stuff like "its fucked" or "its the shit" except the swear word would be like in a half mumble for some reason... but i still new what word i said and probably so did the customer... |

Yesterday I was at the lake and there were the usual hordes of mouthy teenage girls swearing left right and centre "Shit!..this water is like SO fucking cold!" and not only is it incredibly annoying but there are small children EVERYWHERE. I hate it when people swear in front of litte kids or swear unnecessarily in public.
