Is anyone having trouble with Messenger?

Msn Messenger 4.6 (the newest version they have out)
is anyone having trouble staying connected to it?

Mine is constantly going offline, though my contact window is still saying im online, and when i click on a contact to chat...it all of a sudden says im offline.. though i never signed out.
