Yeah it's been about 3 years since I've graduated highschool and it's amazing to see how much people have changed over the years. It was especially shocking to hear how quickly people changed even just during the summer after graduating.
Then again, I sometimes forget that I am getting old and that 3 years is a big difference in your late teens and it's enough time for people's lives to evolve rapidly. |

hehe ya.... changes changes changes..... When I went to montreal during the holidays I called up a few friends I grew up with and met up with them..... Good times... Last time I talked to them and saw them prior to that was elementary grade 6 which was like 10-12+ years ago and to catch up on all the times.... just amazing.... especially when me and my old street hockey bud's decided to play it old school and setup a net and played some hockey.... myself always being the goalie.... So many good memories....

^ i agree with half that statement. Usually when people are all shocked about those kinda things ya, they never really knew the people in the first place . That doesnt mean people dont change. Ofcourse people change. thats just silly.
When peculiar stories and dirty things started getting out about people in town after high school; I found it alot more funny, than shocking hearing about how all the smart/incrowd kids suddenly seemed less perfect and way more human then they did in school. It was like, wait. they have problems too(and in some cases worse problems), just like me and my friends! These people are actually like people! go figure |

so many ladies i graded with have been knocked up and married its sick, or at least i dont personally agree with it. and i found the most uptight ladies have gone a little crazy but are now starting to get back into being "good girls"
i know ive changed rediculously in the past 3 almost 4 years so i cant really point any fingers. some i graded with may say its good changes, others may not. eye of the beholder. |

yep, people change...life goes on. many people who didnt experiance "life" when they were younger/in school often end up doing it once they've graded and moved out on their own. ive known alot of people who have done that and kinda screwed up their lives(imo)
ive known others who got into alot of trouble when they were younger, then grew up and got their lives back on track... |

all the people ive known in highschool and through out my life have not changed in any fundimental way, 4 years on and the only difference is what their doing, what theyve done, what theyve learned, how much money they have etc... other then that their all pretty much the same, the assholes are still assholes, the geeks are still geeks, the losers are still losers, nice people are still nice, the rednecks and thugs are still more or less rednecks and thugs at heart, the emotional/psychological basketcases are still basketcases etc.... im pretty much the same guy i was in highschool only older, more educated and less violent. |

it was explained to me by someone older and wiser that once a person pass late teens, one's core personality is pretty much set. he went on to tell me the key to life is not to change one's core self, but to understand one's strengths and weaknesses. build on your strengths, stay away from people who tempt your weaknesses. |
