taking advantage of my kindness.

Ok, every once in awhile (read: rarely) I decide to go out of my way to do something nice for someone, and help them out.

Why is it that on the rare occasion I decide to do such things, people not only accept this opportunity, but they also take advantage of my kindness.

You just have to be selective about who you go out of your way for. I used to do it for everyone. But you DO get taking advantage of.

Now, I only do it for ppl the appreciate it. Who, if the roles were reversed, would do it for me too.
Random acts of kindess, although a great thing to do, can blow up in your face. Everyone thinks that you cant do anything nice for just anybody anymore, because they might take advantage of you. Maybe they're right.

i hate that..ur already goin outta ur way for sumone and yet they still want or expect more..they always want more..nuthing is ever enuf..and even when u meet that expectation..it still isn't enuf..ok..now i'm rambling off...but yeah...do as much good as u wanna do..and try not to let peopel take advantage..altho its hard..cuz only u get kinda burnt in the end..
