My day's been a giant clusterfuck...How 'bout yours?

I'm questioning the intelligence of engineers who decide to update a major financial system/website the week BEFORE a long weekend when A) Everyone wants their money to spend on the weekend, and B) There is far fewer support staff to handle any issues that may arise over the weekend as a result of said update.

Gods above, below and all around, give me the strength to get through today without committing homicide.

yep, it is hard to do your job to the best of your ability when EVERY other department you depend on is closed for the weekend...part of why I loathe working on Saturdays...

my day is great so far. lots of sleep and i finally got my EU passport today, which was cutting it close, since i'm leaving for my trip on the 8th. that could have sucked. still, it's only 4 so there's lots of time for shit to hit the fan.
